Anxiety and Trauma Therapist in Didsbury, Alberta
Meet your Psychologist
Meet Kelsie!
Welcome! I’m glad you’re here! I'm Kelsie, Registered Psychologist and founder of Keep Glowing Psychology. For the past 7 years, I have been in the therapy/counselling role helping people take control of their lives on their own terms. If you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected, I can help you understand what’s happening beneath the surface and help you build healthier, more grounded ways of living.
A common theme I have noticed in my work is the connection between anxiety, perfectionism, and people pleasing. Stress and anxiety are the main culprits of unhelpful thoughts and behaviours. This is something I have helped many clients overcome by focusing on developing self-compassion, self-trust, and building emotional regulation skills to better manage stress. I truly enjoy helping people develop lasting, meaningful change in their lives.
Whether you’ve been living with constant worry, the impact of past experiences, or pressure to perform, my expert knowledge in human behaviour can provide the tools and strategies to overcome any problem!

I respect and appreciate when clients trust me with sensitive topics. I am often inspired by the unique world views, experiences, and people's capacity to heal, grow, and learn new skills.
I believe change happens both through relationship building and increased self-awareness. Recognizing patterns that keep people stuck and working to change those patterns is the best way to make lasting change. Those patterns may be certain behaviours, habits, or unhelpful beliefs that are keeping us stuck.
Who I Work With
I support men and women who are carrying a lot—often quietly. Many of my clients feel anxious, overwhelmed, or stretched thin by the pressures of work, relationships, and the expectations they place on themselves. You may be someone who holds everything together for others, even when you’re exhausted or unsure where to turn.
I work with people navigating life transitions, healing from past trauma, or struggling with patterns like perfectionism, people-pleasing, and self-criticism. You might feel disconnected from yourself, easily triggered, or simply worn down by the mental load you’re carrying.
I also specialize in the postpartum period, where joy and overwhelm often live side by side. You may love your baby and still feel anxious, lonely, or unlike yourself—and that’s more common than most people talk about.
If you’re looking for a space where you can be honest, breathe deeply, and feel supported without judgment, I’m here to help you find your footing again..

Why I Specialize in Anxiety, Perfectionism & Trauma
Many clients come to me saying they’ve spent years “holding it together” — achieving, performing, giving, and managing everything on their own. Often, anxiety, perfectionism, and unresolved trauma are deeply interconnected. They show up as:
Racing thoughts or chronic overthinking
High expectations or fear of making mistakes
Difficulty resting or feeling “never enough”
Emotional triggers that don’t always make sense
Relationship challenges or conflict cycles
These patterns are not character flaws — they are survival strategies you learned long ago. Together, we gently explore these patterns so you can develop healthier ways to cope, connect, and grow.
Therapy is not about judgment, shame, or reliving the past. It’s about empowerment, clarity, and healing at a pace that feels right for you.
I’m committed to offering:
A safe, supportive therapeutic relationship
A trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, non-judgemental environment
Tools and insights you can use beyond the therapy room
Consistent support as you build the life you truly want
You are in the right place! You don’t have to navigate this alone. I’m here to walk with you through each step of your healing and growth.
It takes tremendous courage and strength to make the first steps and reach out. We all need a little extra support and guidance at various points in our lives. That's what I'm here for! Whatever you are struggling with, there is hope and there is a way to get unstuck

I integrate aspects of cognitive behavioural (CBT), dialectical behavioural (DBT), solution-focused, acceptance and commitment, and mindfulness-based modalities into my work based on my client’s unique needs.
