Anxiety and Trauma Therapy in Didsbury, Alberta
Keep Growing, Keep Glowing
Welcome
Are you tired of overthinking, feeling overwhelmed, or drained?
You feel constantly tense and anxious — you have trouble relaxing, struggle with sleep, and feel like you are always “on,” even when nothing is actively wrong
You are easily overwhelmed by small tasks — you are restless, irritable, and struggle with even getting simple tasks done that you used to have no problem managing
You're carrying a lot quietly — past experiences, family stuff, or relationship stress — and sometimes it’s hard to explain why it still feels so present.
You second guess your thoughts, feelings, or reactions — replaying conversations, wondering if you’re being “too sensitive,” or asking yourself if you’re making a bigger deal out of things than you should.
You feel obligated and required to keep things calm — smoothing things over, holding it together, or setting your own needs aside so nothing blows up.
All of these things lead to problems in relationships and functioning in your day-to-day. At Keep Glowing Psychology, we help you increase self-compassion, self-awareness and regulate emotions with high quality, evidence-based strategies. These strategies help create new perspectives that build a life with purpose and growth!

Find your Way Back to Calm, Clarity, and Connection
Life doesn’t come with a manual, but you’ve probably spent years trying to write one for yourself — pushing, striving, performing, overthinking, and holding everything together for everyone else. On the outside, you appear capable and composed. On the inside, you may feel overwhelmed, exhausted, stuck, or disconnected from who you truly are.
If you’re navigating anxiety, perfectionism, or the lingering effects of trauma, you may have reached a moment where something needs to change. And if you’re here, you’re already taking the first step toward that change.
Welcome. I’m glad you’re here.
My practice is a place where you can put the mask down, breathe, and start creating the life — and relationships — you’ve been longing for.
You don’t have to figure this out alone!
The name “Keep Glowing” was inspired by the symbolism of the firefly.
“Fireflies remind us to take a moment to appreciate the small, simple things in life and to ground ourselves in the moment and appreciate what surrounds us and matters most” (Well+Good, 2022).
Meet Kelsie, your therapist in Didsbury, AB
At the heart of my work is a simple belief: You don’t need to be fixed — you need to be understood, supported, and given the tools to thrive.
Healing doesn’t mean “forgetting” what happened or forcing yourself to feel better. It means learning how to feel safe in your body again, understand your reactions, and regain a sense of control over your life.
If you want to:
Feel less overwhelmed and have more moments of calm
Reduce the constant overthinking
Feel more grounded and confident in daily life
Reduce intrusive memories or emotional numbness
Quiet your self-critic
I offer therapy that is compassionate, evidence-based, and tailored to your unique experiences.
Looking for in-person, face-to-face counselling? I have an office in Didsbury, AB.

What therapy looks like with Keep Glowing
Therapy is meant to be a collaborative space where we get curious about what your mind and body have been carrying— without rushing or forcing anything. You don’t need the right words or a clear plan. We can figure it out together and start where you are.
In our work together, you can expect:
Someone who is fully present with you so that you feel respected, listened to, and guided rather than analyzed, judged, or fixed
Someone who understands the urge to share everything all at once
A lot of attention to pacing and safety, creating a space where you can finally exhale
Feeling understood and emotionally safe and getting your story and feelings validated with non judgement
Genuine reactions, not just a blank slate
Allowing room for confusion, mixed and conflicting feelings, and not having it all figured out
How I can Help
Whether you’re struggling with a constant sense of worry or overthinking, feeling like nothing you do is ever enough, or carrying experiences that still affect you long after they happened, therapy can help you understand what’s going on beneath the surface and build new ways of responding to life. As a psychologist, I am passionate about helping people overcome hardships and live their best life.
You Deserve a Life That Feels Like Yours Again!
-
Supporting adults who want to break free from anxiety-driven patterns, heal past wounds, and reconnect with their strengths, values, and sense of self.
Living with anxiety?
Anxiety can feel like you’re constantly bracing for something that hasn’t even happened yet. It shows up as racing thoughts, sleepless nights, restlessness, irritability, or a fear of letting someone down. It can also show up in quieter ways — the hesitation to make decisions, the need for certainty, or the fear of disappointing others.
In therapy, you’ll learn how to:
Recognize your anxiety triggers
Calm your mind and body
Challenge unhelpful thoughts
Set boundaries without guilt
Build confidence and trust in yourself
Together, we’ll work toward a life where anxiety doesn’t run the show — you do.

The teenage years come with powerful emotions, shifting identities, and pressure from both the outside and inside world. Teens today are navigating academic expectations, social challenges, digital stress, and rapid life transitions.
My work with teens focuses on:
Building emotional awareness and coping skills
Strengthening self-esteem and self-trust
Supporting healthy communication with parents and peers
Managing anxiety, overwhelm, and perfectionism
Understanding boundaries and self-advocacy
Teens deserve a space where they can talk openly, be understood, and learn tools that support them for life.

Relationships thrive on connection, trust, and emotional safety — but every couple experiences moments when these things feel out of reach. Whether you’re navigating communication issues, repeated conflict, emotional distance, or the effects of past trauma, therapy can help you reconnect and rebuild.
Together, we will:
Understand your relationship patterns
Practice healthier communication
Heal old wounds and restore trust
Strengthen emotional intimacy
Break out of the same old arguments
Couples therapy isn’t about blame — it’s about creating a stronger, more secure bond.
